About Monica Fyfe, LMFT, BCBA
Monica Fyfe grew up in the South Bay and graduated from El Segundo High School. She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. She went on to receive two master's degrees. The first degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an MFT emphasis. The second degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Applied Behavior Analysis. Monica is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) in California. Monica is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Monica's clinical training included clinical internships at the Guidance Center in San Pedro and For the Child in Long Beach. Monica received training in family therapy, group therapy, PCIT (parent child-interaction therapy), CBT and play therapy. She is also a Secrets of Modern Parenting Provider. Her work experience also includes being a Behavior therapist, Supervisor, Behavior Consultant and Clinical Director at three of Los Angeles's top NPA's, serving clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Monica also served as the Program Director for Walk With Sally, a non-profit supporting children and their families who have lost a loved one due to cancer.
Currently, Monica is a Behavior Consultant for Wiseburn Unified School District (WUSD). She has also provided behavior consulting for Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) as well.
Monica is a Certified Provider for The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for adolescents, 13-17 years old.
Monica served on the Board of the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, Long Beach-South Bay Chapter (CAMFT, SB-LB) as Secretary.
Monica also served her Play Therapy community as President of the LA Chapter of the California Association of Play Therapy (CAL APT). Monica also follows her passion to help children and teens with social skills needs, and is the Founder and Executive Director of OUR VILLAGE, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit agency providing supports to the autism spectrum community and their family and friends.
