Renee Dokmanovich, R.N.
Renee is a registered nurse and mother of 3. She is an Echo Parenting certified parent educator and parent coach. She has worked in classroom settings for 10 years and has experience supporting children with special needs. In addition, Renee volunteers at The Knowing Garden Community School in Redondo Beach as a parent teacher & social emotional supporter with students, parents and staff. She is passionate about her work in the community supporting parents, children, families, and educators.
Renee teaches Echo Parenting's empathy-led 6 week class series based on child development, brain development, and social & emotional intelligence. She also hosts parenting workshops and support groups. Her continuing education requirements are filled in the most current areas of Interpersonal Neurobiology, Brain Science , Psychology/Mental Health, Child Development, Social Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, Trauma Informed Care conferences, Echo Parenting & Education workshops, and Dr. Dan Siegel's Mindsight Classes.
Renee's parenting groups are offered throughout the year at locations such as the Knowing Garden in Redondo Beach.

Monica Fyfe grew up in the South Bay and graduated from El Segundo High School. She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. It was at UCLA where Monica first began working with children on the Autism Spectrum under Dr. Lovaas, and a passion for children and families was born.
She went on to receive two master's degrees. The first degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an MFT emphasis. The second degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Applied Behavior Analysis. Monica is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT) in California. Monica is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Currently, Monica is a Behavior Consultant for Wiseburn Unified School District (WUSD). She has also provided behavior consulting for Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) as well. Monica was also a Clinical Director at two of LA's top NPA/ABA agencies.
Monica is a Certified Provider for The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for adolescents, 13-17 years old. In addition, Monica served on the Board of SB-LB CAMFT, as Secretary. Monica also served her Play Therapy community as President of the LA Chapter of CAL APT.
Monica also follows her passion to help children, teens and young adults with autism spectrum disorder in providing social skills support, as the Founder and Executive Director of OUR VILLAGE, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit agency. Please visit www.ourvillageslc.org for more information!

Monica is available for child, teen and parent PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES, Play and Social Skills Group support, as well as Behavior Analytic services and consultation, in our Play 2 Learn office.
Ofra Obejas likes to play with kids to help them feel better when things are hard.
She sees kids with problems like bullying, being too nervous, not getting along, and hard to manage behavior (acting out). Using puppets, toys, games, art, and Bopper, the bop bag, she provides a safe environment for children to work through difficult emotions and build coping skills. She combines play therapy and parent coaching to address barriers to family communication and to improve cooperation.
With specialized training in trauma treatment (EMDR) and grief and loss, she helps children and adults recover from painful and scary experiences.
Ofra has a Master’s in social work and is a Registered Play Therapist. She has worked in mental health agencies with foster children and children who had been abused and abandoned. She has provided training to mental health professionals on how to work with children who self-harm.
Her mission is to make clients of any age feel heard and understood, and know that they matter.

Working with young people and families to navigate the developmental and educational pathways they will encounter has always been Toni’s passion. Having spent the last 20 years in public education Toni has the background and experience to support parents and their children as they navigate the best social and educational pathway together. Toni hopes to continue to support families by educating, advocating, and coaching with any educational concerns. As an educator, Toni has had a variety of experiences and most recently served as the Principal of Pennekamp Elementary in Manhattan Beach Unified School District. Toni’s educational career started as a teacher. After completing her Master’s in Counseling at Loyola Marymount University, Toni left the classroom to become a Middle School Counselor where her passion for advocating for students was born.
Thereafter, Toni began the doctorate program in Educational Leadership at the University of Southern California, graduating in May of 2012. Shortly after Toni was fortunate to assume the role of Assistant Principal at Manhattan Beach Middle School.
It is with this breadth of experience in both educational roles and pedagogy Toni is able to give children and families the tools and skills needed to find social and academic success in their school settings.
